Just Your Best

I do NOT speak for all brides, their day is not my day! But these truly unique and comfy looks from my activewear boutique could totally fly at my wedding! These also make for great outfits on other occasions, like bridal showers, baby showers, parties, and even business dinners. I love rocking all these looks at events, while still staying comfy and feeling confident.

I am having an outdoor wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in the summer of 2024, so I am not picturing a super formal affair, the only one wearing a tuxedo will be my dog! So I would approve any of these stylish looks for my party guests. If you hate to wear dresses and heels, I’m here to say you don’t have to wear them! I don’t plan on wearing anything uncomfortable or squeezing into spanx and shape wear, so I wouldn’t want my guests to feel like they have to either.

Let’s take a look at the pant options first! I have pulled all of these from my online activewear boutique. These women’s styles are perfect for weddings and getting dressed up without sacrificing your comfort. I’d highly recommend the Peak Zipper Joggers for winter affairs and Everywhere Pants or Zipper Joggers for summer weather, and you’ll see why below. There are a surprising amount of semi-formal and business casual bottoms for women though in my activewear boutique because we are active every day, even running to a wedding and playing yard games at cocktail hour!

(For my wedding, you’ll definitely want to be dressed right for corn hole and bocce ball!)

Everywhere Pants

Starting with the Everywhere collection, these women’s pants are the ideal summer bottom! I can’t explain how light weight and “cool” the fabric feels against your skin. You can wear these on a rainy day too and expect them to quick dry once you get inside!

What to Love: wrinkle-resistant, quick-drying material, matte colors that easily pair with most tops, functional drawstrings with metal-encased tips, and two deep side pockets.

Sizing Recommendation: these fit true to size if you use my sizing guide, but I recommend considering your preferred fit when choosing the right size, especially if you’re in between sizes. I prefer sizing up 1 when I’m normally in-between, but that’s because I really like a loose fit around the waist. The waistband is very gentle though with a functional drawstring.

Everywhere Zipper Joggers

These awesome joggers are a unique cross between the Everywhere Pants above and the Peak Zipper Joggers, and there’s really no better way to explain them than that!

What to Love: everything we love about the Everywhere Pants, plus the awesome zipper design around the ankle; the zippers are fully functional, great for a quick pedicure before the big day too in a hurry! However these pants are so cozy you’ll be wearing them on casual days too.

Sizing Recommendation: you can consider sizing similar to the Everywhere Pants above. The major difference between these 2 styles is the inseam, which is particularly different on these due to the zippered cuff at the ankles. True to size or size up one for more room in the waistband.

Compared to the Everywhere collection, this material is thicker and so a bit heavier, but not too heavy for the summer! This sweat-resistant material also defies wrinkles, so you can rest easy packing this one in your overnight bag too.

What to Love: variety of lengths and satin-y colors to choose from, two deep sside pockets, functional metal zipper details on the ankles, and metal-encased tips on the drawstring ends.

Sizing Recommendation: If you tend to fall between sizes, I’d recommend going with the smaller size. These fit very loose with the uniquely comforting yet thick waistband, so some may like to size down 1-2 sizes. I am a size 6-8, usually a toss between a Small and Medium, but for these I will wear a size XS for a more fitted look.

Work Flow Pants

Although this pant is retiring (whatever is in stock is your last chance!), it is a fun and unique pair of pants to style for a wedding, shower, or other events. These have that classic gaucho wide-leg style.

What to Love: it has a high-waist no-roll band and two slick pockets on the sides. The material has fantastic sweat-wicking and breathable performance abilities! You don’t have to worry about feeling sticky and sweaty in these pants.

Sizing Recommendation: inseams range from 22.5” to 24.5”, which is something to be mindful of with your height. The 22.5” inseam felt just a pinch too long on me (4’11”), but it’s designed to hit at a flattering capri length. Customers prefer sizing up one for a more relaxed fit at the waist as it is not so stretchy like some of our other bottoms.

Hermosa Jumpsuit

Switching gears, this one-piece set is perfect in so many ways! I would wear this every day if I could, and if I got one in every color officially, I probably would! This is a staple for my smart casual outfits when I pair it with a blazer, but this jumpsuit is the perfect base to any outfit, just add in your favorite accessories to personalize it. With a dressy pair of heels and a sparkly belt, this would look great at your next formal event.

What to Love: as soft as a cloud with 2 deep handy pockets! Comes in several solid colors that are easy to pair with a shawl, sweater, or jacket and any pair of shoes

My Best Tip! The way you style the ankle cuffs can totally change the look, whether you leave them down flat, flipped inward so it creates a more bootcut hem, or pulled up for a capri style.

Sizing Recommendation: this jumpsuit is recommended as true-to-size. I recommend comparing sizing similar to pants on the sizing chart, but you can size up 1 for extra comfort or more room in the chest. Remember, this has a padded shelf bra inside, talk about a 2-for-1!

Tribeca Skirt (also see: matching Sweater!)

This isn’t your typical pencil skirt! It’s made from a soft sweater material and screams “COMFY!” from every detail, like the wide lay-flat band and faux buttons, a lengthy inseam that covers your bum when you sit, and 2 deep pockets to boot. The thick sweater material is not stiff but flattering on many body types. I never would have been comfortable for a skirt like this with my gut, but I love to rock it and always get compliments!

What to Love: a fitted skirt with the most flattering sweater material! The thicker support gives you a smooth shape, and the length will cover your bum when you sit. And how can we forget? TWO deep side pockets that can fit an iPhone!

Sizing Recommendation: most customers prefer their true-to-size for the perfect fit. The skirt inseam varies by size from 22” to 25”, and the material is a thick sweater-like fabric with four-way stretch to it. It may not be best in hot outdoor weather!

Sage Bloemendaal Jumpsuit

Although only available in one color, this is the perfect attire for any season of the year! Pair it with a red blazer around the holidays, lace jackets and bombers for the spring and summer, or dress it up for your next wedding. The color is IN right now and is sure to blend in with other wedding guests. Style it with your own belt or the one that comes with, up the game with a cropped sweater or even a long cardigan/kimono. With the right sandals, you’ve got a beautiful and natural wedding look from your activewear drawers!

What to Love: two deep side pockets, to start! The jumpsuit also has a completely detachable belt to tie loose or into a bow, or remove entirely depending on your preference.
