I am one being on this earth, among many others, that has an idea on how hard it is to keep kids on a good note.
Our place is always Disastrous!! you clean every half hour, you feel like all you do is laundry, you have to feed multiple mouths before your own, basically you run a marathon with no finish line….every day!
With that out of the way, kids are amazing, they keep you moving, and remind you of the simle things in life are the best, and i would not change my life in any way, because i am trully blessed!
One important point that we forget…because of the constant cleaning, feeding, cleaning, and so on…
is to ENCOURAGE our kids, everyday, encourage them to be better, to do better, help them with homework, if they dont have any yet, buy activity books and help them through it, make it fun, throw in some jokes, some funny examples, and keep saying to them: “you will SUCCEED”, “you are doing an AWESOME job”
RECOGNIZE the efforts he has put in there, because maybe to you it is just coloring a yellow square….well HEY ! it is hard when you are just starting, let him know, WOW you did not pass the line!!
One of my son’s teacher, in kindergarden had said she was concerned about his coloring, he was using 5 different colours to color ex: a tree. but we were not worried, all we did is encourage him to not pass the line, we did not even mentioned the colors, but instead colored with him and slowly he would see our choices of colors, and now he is coloring much better, choosing better choices of colors.
Don’t be discouraged if you cannot get a result right away, and do not get frustruated at your child, but patiently, slowly, learn with them, at their rhythm, and everything will go accordingly,
I want to take a moment to honor my husband, that has continuously been helping our son with these activity books, and we have seen improvments, i thank God for him, for the great dad that he is, God bless him, Thank you love for your all your efforts,
