I have realised it is dumb when people say not to judge , we forget that when we stop judging with our words, we continue with our thoughts.
So a couple of days ago, someone came to visit our home. As soon as they came in I could feel a rush of critical and judgmental words, one after the other filling the room, until it gave me goosebumps!! Seriously, feeling a pound of negativity with no actual words coming out is worst, and does NOT feel good.
What the “problem” was is that, that particular day, exactly when they had to come unexpectedly, the house was upside down, a tornado passed by, however you want to describe it, it was just a crazy mess!
With 3 kids, it is IMPOSSIBLE to clean this place and keep it that way. Anyone who would be spending time in our home for 1 hour would understand why!!!
So please do NOT continue judging with your mind, we never fully know what is going on in someone’s life. A good action would have been: ” hey I know you have 3 kids, it must be hard, here, tell me what you would like me to do to help”, SOMETHING like that WOULD have been nice, but of course, we forget how to help others, how to lend a hand once in a while, and we just judge, not out loud, but we do, we judge.
Hey don’t get me wrong, I, myself am not perfect, I do judge somtimes in my mind too, but evertime those thoughts come, I reject them, and I look at the person’s situation and ask God forgiveness for my first thought that came as judging, and it gets better everytime, it doesn’t go away just like that, (the judging) but just pray, no one s perfect, we are born with good and evil in us, and we just need to practise on the good to chase away the bad that wants to stay stuck in us!
