I am never broken

Hands by Jewel
If I could tell the world just one thing, it would be that we are all ok. And not to worry ‘cause worry is wasteful and useless at times like these. I won’t be made useless. Won’t be idle with despair. I will gather myself around my faith, for light does the darkness most fear.
~My hands are small I know, but they are not yours they are my own, but they are not yours they are my own and I am never broken.
Poverty stole your golden shoes, it didn’t steal your laughter, and heartache came to visit me, but I knew it wasn’t ever after. We will fight, not out of spite, for someone must stand up for what’s right. ‘Cause where there is a man who has no voice, there ours shall go singing.
~My hands are small I know, but they are not yours they are my own, but they are not yours they are my own and I am never broken.
.In the end only kindness matters, In the end only kindness matters, I will get down on my knees and I will pray, I will get down on my knees and I will pray, I will get down on my knees and I will pray.
~My hands are small I know, but they are not yours they are my own, but they are not yours they are my own and I am never broken. We are never broken.

If you have a chance to listen to this song, do.
I printed it at my work and scotch taped it right in front of me (at the bottom of my comp screen) so that I can see it everyday and remind me of everything that is going on in my life right now, the people who are negative to me. We can never be broken no matter what they throw at us, we might look small, but we can accomplish big things. It is a powerful song, thanks to my friend, she made me listen to it last year, and it is only this year that I actually related to it!
I don’t understand why some people want to break what is good. I don’t understand, and that makes me angry, and it makes me sick, and it breaks my heart.

I will not listen to their words,

I am not useless,

I am not a burden,

I am not lost,

I am not a failure,

I am not broken.
